FAQ
Questions shop owners ask
Does Up24 Sale System work without internet?
Yes. It runs fully offline on a Windows PC and keeps all the shop's data on that PC. You only need internet to send WhatsApp messages or to download updates.
What does it cost?
The app is free for 30 days. After that it needs a license key. Send us your Install ID from the app on WhatsApp and we will reply with the price and your license key. There is no monthly fee.
Which computers does it run on?
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). The installer needs no admin rights.
Can I keep my udhaar (credit) records?
Yes. The Khata section keeps each customer's udhaar, payments received and full history, and sends reminders on WhatsApp.
Can I use it on more than one PC?
Yes. One PC is the main PC and keeps all the data. Other PCs are counters that sell through the main PC over the shop's network. A counter has no data of its own, and sales from every counter show up at the main PC.
Is it suitable for a medical store?
Yes. It tracks batches and expiry dates, sells the earliest expiry first and never sells expired stock without the owner.
Is my data safe?
Daily automatic backups are zipped and verified. Sales are never deleted, only cancelled, and only the owner can restore a backup. Uninstalling the app does not delete your data.
What happens when my license ends?
Selling stops, but your data stays fully readable and backups keep working.
Can I print receipts in Urdu?
Yes. Receipts can be in English or Urdu, with your shop logo, on a receipt printer or a normal page printer.
Windows says 'Windows protected your PC'. Is that normal?
Yes, the installer is not code-signed yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. Every update is signed, and the app refuses an update that is not.
